Word War 2013

The literary lowdown: Six teams of Vancouver’s finest wordsmiths will battle pen to pen in the first-ever Word War. Their assignment: to craft a dazzling tale in 1,500 words and three hours. They’ll travel the gritty streets of downtown Vancouver for inspiration and imbibing. Come join us as they reveal their stories, are judged by a panel of their peers and we crown a winner. Hilarity is sure to ensue. No host bar. Due to mature content this event is recommended for those eighteen and over. Vancouver Community Library Doors open at 7:00.
