All Classical Portland 89.9 FM will provide a live broadcast to a special opening light show, after which the lights will begin their permanent programmed sequence. The full spectrum of colors—based on the height, speed and temperature of the Willamette River below—will be on display during this historical event. The aesthetic lighting was created by artists Douglas Hollis and his wife, the late Anna Valentina Murch, for the Portland–Milwaukie Light Rail Transit Project’s Public Art Program.
Some things to know before you go:
– This is a private lot. Bike parking will be provided, but there is NO vehicle parking.
– The public viewing area, including food carts and beer garden, opens at 6 p.m. and the aesthetic lighting program begins at approximately 9 p.m.
– Seating may be limited. Bring a camp chair or a padded blanket for the gravel!

– No animals (including dogs) are permitted except government approved service animals.
