Biography:
Natasha Kmeto is an electronic producer/vocalist dedicated to the art of emotional engagement. Writing, producing, and performing all her material, Kmeto combines her sensuous voice with a dancefloor ethic, exuding a thoughtful physicality that rewards openness and vulnerability. Stylistically she explores the lines intersected by RnB, soul, and dance music, built using an electronic toolkit developed by years of discipline. She’s most at home when on stage, singing to her fans’ hearts and playing to their bodies.
"As queer identity gets shoved aside with the mainstreaming of electronic music, as if the queer community didn't fuel the genre's formation, it's more vital than ever to have voices like Kmeto's bringing it to the forefront. This, without question, is a record of discovery and confusion as much as it is about the power of confidence in understanding and loving oneself. Inevitable is a collection of slowly ripping cords, the underlying tension manifesting on tracks as if Kmeto must manage simmering emotions and can’t, or maybe won’t." -Pitchfork

Crater is a Seattle-based electronic pop duo consisting of Ceci Gomez and Kessiah Gordon. The band has toured nationally with the likes of Canadian goth pop artist TR/ST and glitter pop band MS MR. Their debut full length, Talk to Me so I Can Fall Asleep, is now available via Help Yourself Records.
“Most of us have experienced the annoyance of dining with someone who won’t put down their phone, even as we’d rather be on our phones ourselves, but few musicians have captured that feeling of hypocritical frustration as acutely as Crater’s Ceci Gomez and Kessiah Gordon.” – Pitchfork

MAARQUII (marquise dickerson) was born in Eldorado Arkansas, he moved to Tillamook Oregon at 13. There he acquired a deep interest in the arts; music and dance specifically. He trained in ballet, jazz, and street styles such as vogue, house and waacking. Highly influenced by ball culture and the underground queer club scene, his art often reflects those influences. Musically, he is inspired by greats like Erykah Badu, Myyki Blanco, Missy Elliott, and Zebra Katz to name a few. In the last year alone he has infiltrated the Portland scene; cultivating his craft and performing at parties such as "Club Kai Kai," "Boyuerism" and "Yes Please.” He is also a dancer for local RnB band Chanti Darling, who was recently voted Portland's best new band by Willamette Week. It was through performing at the local event "Sad Day" (put on by Patrick Buckmaster) that he was introduced to producers/artists Derek Stilwell and SaintMichaelLorenzo of JVNITOR and BRUXA, and thus "HEAVY PETTY" was born.
