Wear & Tear will be an exhibition of wearable art - but this won't be just any couture...
Our event will feature pieces constructed from the minds of several local makeup and fabrication effects artists, whose work has been featured on Grimm, The Fly, Chronicles of Riddick, and recently At Home With Monsters, the art show curated by Guillermo del Toro in Los Angeles.
** Ages 18+, $8 / 5 for $30 in advance, $10 at the door **
Purchase tickets in advance here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wear...

Given the variety of focuses of each artist, these worn pieces will range from mechanical couture to full monster suits, to elaborately applied silicone prosthetics.
In addition to one prominent piece being worn by a model for each artists, the artists will also be displaying paintings and sculptures that illustrate the scope of their talents outside of costume/makeup effects.
Smaller art pieces will be for sale as well, for those new to art collecting.
For music, electronic artist Fatthor will set for us a wonderful soundscape of wonder and intrigue, and LuvJonez Music will lay us down some relaxing beats.
And of course - WINE! Cash bars to be available for your convenience and intoxication.
Come dressed for success!
