Cabaret

Immersed in a seedy 1931 Berlin nightclub, "Cabaret" revolves around a young American writer's complex relationship with a carefree English cabaret performer, set against the backdrop of Hitler's rise to power. Love, loss, hate, and hope wage their own wars among the bohemian nightlife. Written by Kander & Ebb (Chicago) and originally choreographed by Bob Fosse, "Cabaret" is considered a seminal musical in Broadway history. Bawdy and irreveratant, dark and disturbing, there's nowhere quite like the Cabaret... (This is not a performance suitable for children.)
