How do we keep our hearts whole and our communities safe and healthy, even in the face of relentless oppression? More than 2,000 trans, nonbinary, two spirit, and intersex people marched with our allies last year, demonstrating our collective power and commitment to racial justice, economic justice, and trans liberation—and this year we are coming back to do it again.
Organized by Greater Portland Trans Unity and the 2017 Trans March Planning Committee, the 4th Annual Portland Trans Pride March is dedicated to Keeping Our Flame Alive—we will honor and celebrate the love in our hearts and the tangible, everyday power in our connected efforts and acts of solidarity with each other.
We hope you'll come march with us, and help show the world that we are here, we are proud, and we are not backing down. Bring your signs and banners and let’s make some noise!
