Bear Heaven!
I am personally into REAL MEN/Bears. I had one of the best times of my life EVER in an Eagle! Will be there any and every time I visit Portland!
Naked Pool and Bears!
Great place to find real, earthy folks that aren't ashamed to be real and are tolerant of the variety of men available. Negative...the service is usually slow and the music tends to be bartendar's choice as opposed to having a good selection of more leather themed music...very often it brings the mood down. Positive - great for Sunday's bear busts and a great patio to smoke in, love naked pool!

Nice People
Still on our long road trip, I wanted a "correct" leather type bar. Knowing what I know about the community, I knew I wanted something like The Eagle. We arrived on a weekday middle afternoon. There were only three costomers when we arrived. They all talked to us; asked Q's like, where are u from; where are u going. They were knowledgeable about the near area, and our eventual destination, Vancouver, BC. Everyone was very pleasant. The place had the exact atmosphere of an EAGLE! Those who know - know what that means.

I recently relocated to PDX from Louisiana and made it to the Eagle for the first time Sunday, Feb. 6th. I met some wonderful guys and I finally found a bar in the city where I "fit" in like a "real" gay man. Kudos to you EAGLE!
