NIce Neighborhood Bar that Also Serves Good Food
This is a clean and well managed neighborhood bar. The staff is friendly and professional. Strangers are made to feel welcome. While it is described as a bar, they also serve food. The menu is somewhat limited, but what they serve is very well prepared, and sold at reasonable prices. Their Halibut and chips is among the best I have ever had any where. This is the kind of place you could take out of town friends for a meal.

A nice, relaxing place to grab a few beers and chill out. There was a nice assortment of 80's synthpop on the speakers, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe. My kind of place!

It's not the Fox & Hound chain...
thank goodness! (If you know that Kentucky-based chain you understand.) This is an independent, only-in-Portland operation and it's a fun place to have a drink and get to know the locals. Most of them do come here, and even a quiet night is a great time to get to know them. The room is pleasant, with a touch of old Portland ambience that I liked. I think it's my favorite bar in Portland.

A friendly neighborhood supper club and bar. I had a yummy plate of fish and chips, washed down with a pint of Black Butte beer. Watched the regulars gossip and tease one another, in a friendly manner. If you have money to burn, there are slot machines in the back.

      For A Cheap Strong Drink
First of all, No matter what age you are, you will always be the youngest and prettiest in this dark lounge downtown, which is a perk, as well as there extremely strong and cheap drinks, A great place to go For A Greasy Spoon type Brunch on Sundays, Ofcourse after a night of Dancing and Drinking. Here is my advice, get a room, get a cab, and start your night off here, you will thank me in the morning...It's a fun lil dive for everyone, I recommend it!
