I like this place. I came into this place on Wednesday and the crowd was somewhat moderate. I love the setup and everyone seems to be very very welcoming and friendly. I love this place because it has huge dance floor, although that might I didn't dance, super hot Gogo boys, great gayness musical ranking from Latinos to house. It was a walk in experience til I was warned about taking pics. I'm like, why its not permitted to take photos ? -

all these old queens have known each other since the 70's,in fact I believe they have stools with their names on them.Bartenders are bus like,but not friendly,unless you are 18 and under,then you will attention,dont leave a good tip as they dont appreciate it,and they dont care,they are all pedophiles,who support the junky whores who are "go go" dancers,and or sad die hard drunks who have no clue we are almost in 2015...Do y/self a favor,go to the Rialto,or stay at your hotel,or better yet skip this pretentious wanna be city and fly into a real city...Vancouver BC. -
Hated it!
It's too small and the music is too loud. If you go here with any regularity, you will be deaf in, well, not long. Plug your ears, that's all I can say. Hearing aids are not sexy. Especially when you're 40. The boys? They're boys. Some people like more than just twinks and variety is the spice of life. The first time I went, there was a good mix of twinks and men. Now, most of them are just hard to look at. -

Like most any place you go, it is what you make it. I have a great time at Silerado, I can always run into some one I know. The bartenders make killer drinks and the dancers are fun to watch. Yes, they do have str8 strippper along with the gay fem boys, it is a good mix of male bodies, naked...I enjoy going on Sundays, no cover, drafts are a dollar and wells are two buck, the guys state dancing at five and go until midnight. It is standing room only by seven. -
Silverado is a must
After reading the reviews on here I was a little leery about going to Silverado's. But I went and loved it. Yes, there were females there, and they weren't obnoxious like some of the reviewers mentioned. More importantly, the dancers were incredible. There were two of the hottest men I've ever seen on stage dancing with their dicks hanging out. These aren't twinks, though there were several dancers that were. But man, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a $4 cover charge and my drinks were $6.50 each (vodka & tonic). I went alone and still had a great experience. -
One of my favorite bars anywhere in the world
To be fair, I love Portland, anyway. It is, as a friend described it, an "odd" city. Case-in-point--the Silverado. Located right across the street from Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and next door to straight strip club, Portland is the best case of live-and-let-live anywhere in the U.S. High-class meets artsy meets sleazy... and everyone gets along. The Silverado is the epitome of that mix. One of the few strip clubs in the States where guys can go fully naked (they don't do it all the time), the dancers manage to still make it work when wearing underwear or whatever. If you want it to be sleazy, there are guys there for that, if you want to just have a drink, the Silverado does that great, too. Normally, I'm not a fan of females at gay strip clubs, but here, it's just part of the amazing mix that is Portland. No boundaries in this city... everyone just does their thing and mixes at will. Show up at the Silverado however you are... you'll fit in and find a good crowd any time. Nothing high-class here... just a good bar that happens to have some of the best, most approachable strippers I've seen anywhere. -

Like no place else.
I really don't like strip clubs much. But I must say that, even for me, Silverado is tolerable. The boys do show everything sometimes...there's no cover, and drinks are reasonal\bly priced and well served. -

HI, I just wanted to defend Portland, OR and how SIlverado is not a straight Cesspool! The cool thing about Portland is that straight people don't label themselves and we all get along! A bunch of overly perfumed straight girls dragging their in the closet boyfriends to stare at what are the WORST, ugliest strippers I've ever seen. Self loathing gay people (par the course for Portland) and terrible food. Portland is by no means a gay destination, and this is just one more example of why it never will be. -

The idea of watching scantily clad guys shake their jiggly bits sounds like a great way to spend an evening but I found myself bored with the whole equation of Silverado. The bar isnt anything special to look at; the high ceilings are nice and help make the room feel a lot larger then it actually is but their really isnt a lot of space to lounge and relax. Standing room only from what I could tell. The main focus of the bar is the stage where the boys dance and shake their goods for the audience. There are a couple stages from the main stage where other dancers are stationed. If what youre looking for in an evening is half naked/sometimes naked boys shaking their goods then youll have a great time. I would much rather be at a nightclub with a dance floor with go go boys; its not a night out unless Im dancing.
