QDoc, the only queer documentary festival in the U.S., returns to Portland this fall. It's one of only two festivals like it in the world, so it's worth checking out just for that reason.
What: You can expect anything from experimental formats to queer true crime docs (if you're lucky). But everything is high-quality and queer!
Where: It goes down at Hollywood Theatre, which is helpfully near many queer-friendly hotels and restaurants.
